Mary has been practicing law for over thirty years and now concentrates her practice in the areas of municipal law, business law and probate law. In these three practice areas she addresses real estate issues, contract drafting, and document review for legal compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations. These areas of law require a focus on client interaction, understanding the client’s needs and assisting with the legal aspects of completing the task at hand. Mary is trustworthy, dedicated, and knows exactly what it takes to help you with your legal issues.
Representing several Massachusetts water districts in Middlesex and Worcester counties, Mary is experienced in municipal real estate issues, including conveying and leasing real property and eminent domain proceedings. Compliance with open meeting and public records laws, municipal procurement, public bidding and contract requirements, are examples of areas of experience. Mary works hard for her clients to ensure a favorable outcome and is able to engage with other municipal counsel and private counsel to seek resolution of conflicts.
Bringing the same passion and depth of knowledge to business law, Mary represents several local businesses. Whether you are starting or buying a new business, closing or selling an existing business or need legal advice in addressing the fact specific business issues that arise while operating, Mary strives to provide practical legal solutions. The goal of legal representation is successful completion of the transaction or resolution of the problem to the client’s satisfaction.
